The Alyson Ilene Kaplan Memorial Foundation is the developer of the Global Safe Haven Network program. The mission of the program is to help travelers avoid problems when they are on the road and to make available an international network of “safe haven” locations for a traveler should they find themselves in distress, lost or separated from travel partners or groups.
The Global Safe Haven Network will consist of a unique and valuable range of services, from pre-trip education and destination information to emergency assistance services when they are on the road. The GSH Program will educate, support and protect travelers.

About The Global Safe Haven Network
Our mission is comprised of three central objectives:

What makes the GSH program unique is the strong focus on the proactive involvement of the traveler. This is accomplished by providing members with a workbook that assists them in setting up safety nets prior to their trip, getting them storage in woodbridge, identifying dangerous scenarios, and issuing e-mail or text-message alerts during the trip that keep the traveler informed about potential problems.

When travelers are on the road a single call to the toll-free Global Safe-Haven hotline, available 24/7, will handle any travel, medical or security issue that may arise

To provide lists of locations that would serve as “safe” shelters for any traveler who might be lost, stranded or threatened. Through their participation in the Global Safe-Haven program, official Global Safe-Haven locations will provide travelers with a secure environment, secure storage in which to make informed decisions. In addition, they will offer as many emergency resources as possible, including telephones, lodging or even transportation.

The Global Safe Haven Network will be comprised of both free and membership-based services. These services will be available to all travelers through a unique partnership between the Alyson Ilene Kaplan Memorial Foundation and various universities, educators, sponsoring corporations and emergency providers.
